Ada Bootcamp Info
Ada is a coding school based in Seattle. The unique thing about Ada–which is named after Ada Lovelace, a mathematician and engineer who is considered the first computer programmer–is that the program is geared towards women, who are a minority in the tech industry. However, the program is open for everyone. An immersive Software Development Intensive program is offered at the Seattle campus where students learn Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git/Github, and more. The program consists of 6 months of classroom training and then 5 months of paid internship. Admissions are currently open twice per year, only admitting two classes of 24 students each, for a total of 96 students per year.

More About Ada Bootcamp
Ada is a Seattle-based coding academy that offers a full-time Software Development Intenstive program. In the 11-month Software Development Intensive, students learn Ruby, Rails, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git/Github, as well as other technologies and languages during the internship phase. Students get the chance to gain hands-on experience in collaborative and individual projects. The program consists of 6 months of classroom training followed by 5 months in a paid, learning internship in the greater Seattle area as a software developer.
Ada is passionate about encouraging women-who are a minority in the tech industry-to apply to the program, but everyone will be evaluated equally in the stringent application process. Admissions are currently open twice per year, only admitting two classes of 24 students each, for a total of 96 students per year. Ada’s admission process is divideded into three phases in which students will submit a resume, answer short essay questions, complete a one-week time-boxed coding challenge based on their Jumpstart Curriculum, and participate in an in-person (or virtual for non-locals) panel interview.
The program has no tuitition fee. Ada developed an alternate tuition model by getting financing from company partners. While there is no tuition, living expenses can be costly. Ada offers a low-interest loan that students can apply for to cover living expenses during the classroom period. For more information, check out Craft3’s Ada Developers Academy Loan page.
