CodeCloud Bootcamp Review

CodeCloud offers a unique online learning model through project-based learning, team collaboration, one-on-one mentorship, and video tutorials. Students practice web development and mobile app development skills online through a membership program on the website. CodeCloud employs a social-based approach to learning by encouraging members to work together in groups, called “fleets,” on various web and app development projects. The web and mobile development projects offered in the program are generated using an algorithm which calculates members’ interests and experience.
Members will learn technologies and programming languages used in web and mobile development, such as AngularJS, MongoDB, Express, node.js, Ionic, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Android SDK and iOS. CodeCloud also features supplementary interactive videos that guide members with hands-on development projects, as well as guidance from an assigned mentor. If members lag behind whilst working on a project, they will have the option to purchase completed apps to work on and learn the processes at their own time. Joining CodeCloud is free and setting up an account is easy.
CodeCloud also offers premium memberships called Starter, Apprentice and Mentee. The Starter premium membership costs $29 per month; the Apprentice membership is $79 per month; the Mentee membership is $2,300 per month. The Mentee membership package includes: in-depth text-based documentation for premium projects; video based on your skill level; the opportunity to work with CodeCloud as an Intern on real projects; plus the option for tech recruiter introductions.
