Coding House’s unique live-in bootcamp is the definition of immersion. Students stay at the location in San Jose with other students, collaborating on projects and learning from highly experienced instructors.
The Full Immersion Web Development program is 14 weeks in length and offers a few payment options. The bootcamp is $16,000 and room and board $4,000 but for those who can pay all upfront, the full cost is only $14,000 rather than $20,000. A second option is to pay $6,000 as a down payment to cover room and board, and 18% of the students first year’s salary. $4,000 of the downpayment is applied to room and board, and the remaining $2,000 is applied directly to the the 18% placement fee. Payments start 30 days after students get a job. Payments are made in 6 equal payments over 6 months. The third option is to pay $4,000 down to cover room and board, and 22% of the students first year’s salary. Payments start 30 days after students get a job. Payments are made in 9 equal payments over 9 months.
Coding House is both for students with some initial coding experience and complete beginners. For beginners, they’ve got online prework that will give them a basic introduction and bring them up to speed for day one of class. The interview process first requires an online application, then an interview via phone to evaluate fit, then for the student to complete a set of coding challenges, and finally a technical interview to discuss the approaches the student took to solve the coding challenges.
