More About Depot/U Bootcamp
Depot/U, based in Birmingham, Alabama, offers two front end courses – Front End Engineering, which is 10 weeks, and Front End Basics, which is 6 weeks. Front End Engineering is a full-time coding bootcamp for aspiring front end developers. Front End Basics is a full-time front end coding bootcamp for high school students to learn how to code during the summer. Each course has room for 15-20 students and holds lectures Monday-Friday 9am-1pm, with time for independent and group work before and after lecture. Students learn JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Git, jQuery, and Node.js, among other technologies.
Depot/U is Birmingham’s first coding bootcamp and was founded with the goal of helping beginners learn to code and get a job upon graduation.
The cost of the Front End Engineering is $6,500, while Front End Basics is $4,500. Financing options are offered through the BBVA Compass Signature Express Loan.
