Rockit Bootcamp Bootcamp Review

Rockit Bootcamp is located in Phoenix, Arizona. Classes are held in-person, full-time from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., five days a week.
The main bootcamp teaches full stack web development, while the part-time bootcamp instructs students in front end development. The main program has a two to four week application process, including the application itself, an interview and technical assessment, pre-work, and finally, acceptance. The pre-work is designed to get students up-to-speed on the basics as well as gauge how much the student actually likes programming (in case they want to change their mind).
The program costs $8,000 with $3,000 paid up front. Rockit Bootcamp does not guarantee a job post-graduation; however, students can attend a career fair at the end of the program in which employers have a chance to interview the students for potential job openings. There are also informational drop-in sessions with employers throughout the program. Instructors are industry professionals with many years of web development experience, and the curriculum was designed after asking employers what technical skills they were looking for in their new hires. Cohorts are limited to 20 students, and the student to teacher ratio is, on average, 6:1.
