More About Turing School of Software Design & Design Bootcamp

Turing School of Software Design & Design offers two programs. The first is the Web Application Development program which teaches object-oriented programming, database-backed web applications, and other programming skills. The second is the Front-End Development program which teaches application development for desktop, web, and mobile, including skills in HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
Offering two full-time programs for a tuition of $17,500, the Turing School of Software Design & Design promises a job within three months, as 95% of graduates have found a position in the field within that time frame. Students pay a $1,000 deposit upon enrollment, and cost-of-living and housing are not included in the tuition. Graduates average $78,000 per year, which is just over 60% of the national average, and 8% over the industry average.
On average, each classroom has 100 students across four cohorts, giving the school a ration of 1 instructor for every 12 students. With a lower student to instructor ratio, students receive more attention, which is useful because the school has been described by students as a very difficult seven months. However, it does produce quality programmers, and since it is a non-profit organization, it operates on the principle that teaching the students is the most important objective.
